What they're saying...

What a great experience it was for the kids! The facilities were all so nice and the organization was great. So nice when you guys have the scores updated daily. As a coach I can honestly say that was the best refereed tournament we have ever played in. They were consistent both ways and always fair to both teams. I was so impressed with the job that they did. They were excellent referees! Again I just wanted to be sure to thank you as we had a great experience. It was such a neat well deserved time for the kids. Dave Austin, Stanwood 8th boys coach

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for the tourney [State 2014]. The team had fun. We went 2-2 so had some highs and had some lows. We played our best (and got a win) in the last game so got to leave on a high note. It was a great basketball experience. We will definitely play some of the qualifying tourneys so we can try to return next year. Stacy Chick, Kentlake Red 7th boys coach

  • Early season tourneys return as State Qualifiers

    Posted September 9, 2014

Let's do it again!... The Mercer Island Girls program's "Oktobers Best, Ball Till You Fall" tips off the 2014-15 season as our initial State Qualifier tourney.  Oktobers Best is on the weekend of Oct 24-26th.  Other early season Qualifiers include Cedar Park Christian's "CPC Fall Classic" on Oct 31-Nov 2 and Skyline Girls Select's Tip-Off Tourney on Nov 8-9.

We are updating our full list of State Qualifiers - which last season totaled over 30 tourneys.  Watch for the final list (along with individual tourney registration forms) by the end of September.

    See YOU at State!!

  • WYS tourneys added as 2015 State Qualifiers

    Posted August 5, 2014

The State Committee is excited to announce the addition of five, winter Washington Youth Sports (WYS) tourneys as official qualifiers for State 2015.  Over the years, WYS has managed hundreds of quality tournaments in the greater Seattle area, including their popular MLK tournament which included 129 teams last season.

The addition of the WYS Qualifier tourneys will significantly increase the competition level at State - particularly in the Club division.    We're excited to watch the battle of teams from all over Washington, with many offering first-time 'out of region' matchups!

Watch for individual WYS tourney pages on our website in September.  In the meantime, for more detail or to register your team, visit the WYS website.
